Catalyst Video Services provided location photography of the replacement of a cement silo at Walcon Marine in Portsmouth.

Catalyst were recently commissioned to provide location photography of the removal of a redundant cement silo and installation of brand new 25te steel silo at Walcon Marine in Portsmouth for Spirotech-SRD Group Ltd.

The location photography involved the setting up of two time-lapse cameras prior to work beginning which captured the whole project from start to finish. Catalyst also documented the project both with still shots and video using two DSLR cameras.

Video drone adds to location photography arsenal

A video drone was also used to get a different angle on the project. As the customers location was on the limit of both Southampton airport CTR and the Solent CTA Catalyst had to get Air Traffic Control permission both prior to the shooting date and before flying on the day.
